Enterprise questionnaires
Barca’s solutions engineers knew the product. Completing an enterprise questionnaire still meant hunting for the current wording across product guides, security policies, and previous deals.
Old answers could describe a different subscription plan or a feature still on the roadmap. Product and security owners had to check those details before the account team could send the response.

02 / Working with Savix
Start with what the product supports today
The first collection included current product documentation, security policies, plan descriptions, and approved answers from previous questionnaires.
- STEP 01
Curate the current answers
Security and product owners checked the initial knowledge collection. The team kept roadmap statements separate and removed outdated material before using it to draft new responses.
- STEP 02
Draft with the evidence available
Savix extracted the buyer’s questions and drafted from the uploaded documents and Q&A. Solutions engineers could inspect the supporting text and see where a claim needed further verification.
- STEP 03
Review promises, then export
The team assigned security questions to security and product conditions to product owners. Reviewers corrected unsupported specifics, confirmed the final wording, and handed the export back to the account team.
What made the difference
The first draft became a reviewable account of the product, rather than a collection of answers copied from old deals
03 / One answer, from source to review

The source sets the limits. The reviewer confirms what the team can commit to.
The buyer asks
Are SSO and automated user provisioning included in all plans?

04 / The results
A first draft in five team hours, not twenty
Across the eight questionnaires, research and first-draft writing fell from 20 to 5 team hours per response. Solutions engineering could return a populated questionnaire to the deal team sooner and spend more of the evaluation working on the buyer’s use case.
Expert review fell from nine to four team hours. Security and product owners still made the final decisions, but started with the supporting material and a focused set of unresolved questions. The account team received answers that described the current product, with plan conditions and limitations already checked.

How these results were measured
Average contributor time for research and initial writing across eight comparable enterprise questionnaires over eight weeks. Expert review is measured separately; onboarding and buyer follow-up are excluded.
Take this into your next response
Make one owner responsible for each type of commitment. Product behavior, security controls, and contract terms need different reviewers.
